My creative space.

A day late.  Here's what's been going on in our creative space this week:

Cutting for some new lace coin purses and wiping one little nose again - mind you this kid has had so much practise she's an expert blower now (sorry if that was a little too much info for you)

Playing dress ups and swapping jewellery.
Making stained glass window "lub hearts"

More creative spaces at Kootoyoo.  187 before me in fact.

Love this vintage...

Hoop covered pinboard covered in vintage fabric by bliss in a teacup.  I think I might need this.

A very good idea.

A very good idea.  I think I'll keep following.

The sweetest book ever.

Look what Mr postman delivered for me today.

And it did not disappoint.  Peek inside here and here and here.

Home Cure

My place needs a little pick me up so I've been following this mini series of the home cure via apartment therapy.  Have you?

It's up to day 2.  I'm not yet won over, but he's got me interested after 2 videos (all except for the unusual obsession with beeswax on day 1... What was that about?)  Anyhow, let me know what you think.  Have you ever read the book or followed something like it?

New in shop

While off on my break I've had more time to think about new products and more time to play around with ideas.  Seriously, it's been doing my head in.  I'm lying awake at all hours dreaming things up and trying to work out patterns in my brain.  I have so many new ideas I can't keep up and it's driving me crazy!  Anyone have this feeling too?  I have ideas for the shop, ideas for gifts, ideas for me, ideas for kid clothes and ideas for how I can get it all done before Christmas...I'm sure many of you know what I mean.  It's a hard switch to turn off.

A couple of weeks ago I started on these new design bibs, and they're now in shop.  They're a cute handmade alternative for little people to wear and I'm quite pleased with them. The lovely Ros mentioned they might be a nice thing for your kidlet to wear to a wedding, restaurant or christening, and I think that's a great idea.  Sweet and small new baby gift too I think.

All lined with double cotton flannel, they're perfectly absorbant, and are machine washable.  Of course, they're made with natural linen and some lovely vintage cotton prints!

Thank you and please go to sleep.

A quick thank you to Anna from Brooklynbibshop for including me in this delightful treasury titled lovely linen last week.  If you're a lover of all things linen, this is one for you to check out!  Gorgeous.  See it here.

In other news, I've got an overtired, teething 2 year old who does not want to sleep tonight, so I'm writing this in between going in and out of her room.  We're heading on 2 hours of crying and wanting to be held.  I've tried absolutely everything in my bag of tricks, so here's hoping she gets real sleepy real soon....

Love this vintage...

Set of antique canisters from everyeskimo on etsy.  These would be so cute in a craft space holding bits and pieces.

Love this vintage...

Set of scales from little byrd vintage.  I love thinking about what these were used for 100 years ago.
